Abstract

This panel goes beyond the usual actors in human rights to bring into the frame of discussion new perspectives and critiques. Broadly focused on the policies and architectures of human rights each paper speaks to an intersection between human rights and other processes such as economic development, adoption policy, or trade union organising. In this way the panel prompts us to ask which actors are relevant in shaping knowledge about and action on human rights and transitional justice issues. It also explores how we can decentre the study of, and policy concerning, human rights and transitional justice.
