A growing number of countries have been deploying anti-corruption tools based on emerging technologies to fight corruption and improve integrity. Although we know that Artificial Intelligence (AI), blockchain, natural language processing, big data analytics, satellite imagery, digital crowdsourcing, and whistleblowing platforms, just to name a few, are already being used to prevent or detect potential corruption cases, we still lack in-depth knowledge on the benefits and perils of these applications.
