Abstract

This panel aim to discuss what are the existing relationship between policy making and social identification processes, epistemological diversity and affective dynamics. It purposes to investigate the mutual impact of policy making and social polarisation, identification and belonging or recognition. The panel explores the epistemological and/or affective dimension of policy making processes, political discourse or public debate about policy making at individual, social and institutional levels. Both theoretical and empirical research are included.
