Abstract

This panel collectively explores the institutional dimensions of gender-related policies and activism within international organizations. The panel engages with the role that feminist bureaucrats activists and academics play in pushing feminist agendas within formal institutions and the challenges experiences in trying to get feminist agendas through. In addition to considering theoretical perspectives, it also engages new datasets that tell us more about transnational feminist networks roles within institutions of international politics. These papers offer a nuanced and comprehensive understanding of gender dynamics, providing theoretical and empirical insights into the complexities of contemporary gender issues across diverse spheres.
