Abstract

Interest group influence on political processes and outcomes is famously hard to measure, but recent developments in data collection possibilities and research methods open up new possibilities to tackle this partly understudied topic in interest group research. The papers in this panel address the question of policy influence in various, yet related, ways and in different venues, both conceptually and empirically, with a strong emphasis on new technology in the case selections.
