Abstract

The aim of the panel is to discuss several issues regarding the relationship between different levels of governance from supranational (e.g EU) and (multi)national state to the sub-national (regional, local) level. What are the best solutions for a decentralized state structure to function? What if the existent structure of the governance within a state does not satisfy stakeholders with different goals? How does supranationalism relate to the autonomy of the state or its local governments?
