Abstract

This is the first of two panels that examine different and new perspectives on military change in European armed forces and organisations. The panels aim to further our theoretical and empirical knowledge on how and why military organisations adjust to challenges in their operational and strategic environments. This panel is theoretically oriented, exploring topics such as the role of new public management practices and incrementalism in military change, military adaptation and innovation, and military experiences and learning.
