Changing patterns of disease, evolving technologies and strained budgets for healthcare emphasizes the need for normative discussions of health and its distribution. Philosophers and ethicists increasingly contribute to the discussion about health inequalities, social determinants in health, public health initiatives and healthcare prioritization. The panel is dedicated to continue this discussion. This includes, but is not limited to: - Why is health important? - What makes distributions of health (un)just? - How are we to prioritize scarce health resources? - How do now technologies affect our ethical obligations in the context of health? The panel welcomes any paper addressing important aspects of health. This includes both papers who discuss health and justice in the abstract, and those who seek to apply normative theories to more specific ethical discussions.
