Abstract

For a variety of reasons, people are forced to leave their homes and countries, controversially discussed in politics and public. The handling of such a situation is very challenging for all parties involved. This panel deals with social and institutional facets of how refugees and migrants experience and handle aspects of identity formation by living in a foreign country.
