Abstract

The Panel addresses ongoing trends in international organisations’ development, also touching upon such issues as state behaviour in international organisations and interaction between international organisations and national institutions. The panel’s topics range from “old” ones, such as member states’ compliance with the international organisation’s decisions to relatively new ones, such as international parliaments, their typology and role in global governance. The papers include both theoretical and empirical research with case studies geographically ranging from Africa to Europe.
