Abstract

The goal of this panel is to address the advances in research examining citizens’ engagement with politics or lack thereof. Topics include electoral abstention, political ignorance, indifference, alienation, scepticism, distrust, cynicism, disgust, and anger. We welcome theoretically driven empirical research papers.
