Abstract

The European Parliament plays a key role in the political system of the EU, and is the only body directly representing citizens at the EU level. This panel explores all aspects of legislative politics in the EP, including inter-institutional policy negotiations, as well as the role played by the complex relationship between national parties, European Party Groups, and individual MEPs.
