Emergency parliamentarism during the Corona crisis: the case of Austria

The paper documents institutional reactions in the Austrian parliament taken at the onset and during the height of the Corona crisis as well as changes in the behaviour of parliamentary parties and individual legislators observed during the spring term 2020. We then provide a first evaluation how these changes impact on a) executive-legislative relations and b) the relationship between parliamentary party groups and their members.
