Abstract

The role and place of national minorities in public life during the Russian-Ukrainian war is considered. Russian aggression in 2014 led to a significant rise in society. Its integration, with the aim of protecting statehood, activation and participation in the volunteer movement took place. Similar trends are observed after the beginning of the acute phase of the Russian-Ukrainian war (February 24, 2022). National minorities and their institutions actively participated in measures aimed at protecting the country. The unity of society, regardless of ethnic or religious affiliation, became characteristic. The study is intended to establish the main directions of activity of public associations of national minorities in the conditions of the Russian-Ukrainian war of 2014 - our time, to determine their place in the formation of Ukrainian civil society, to reveal their significance for the ethnonational unity of the country.
