Abstract

Almost three years after the beginning of the Covid-19 Pandemic we can already look at the way the political parties adapted themselves to the new conditions and especially how far were they able to cope with the necessity to live online, not only during the worst moments of the pandemic. The Covid-19 stress has certainly led the parties to adapt themselves and to digitalize and to use some useful tools to communicate and to work together online. But what will remain even after the pandemic? The fatigue of the online living can be seen in a lot of spheres, and to some extent what was seen as new, as an irreversible modernisation began also to be seen as insufficient and the call for a „normal“ life seems to undermine the unexpected progresses we have made during the worst period of the pandemic. Such calls were seen within the parties even during the pandemic when the situation seemed to be better and for instance gathering were permitted. Nevertheless, some tools and knowhow, some practices remain as a part of the "normal life". The aim of this paper is to focus on those practicalities that are seen by the parties and their members as useful even during the periods when the Covid-19 is on the decline. This paper will also point out not only that each party has its own response, but also that it is depending on different reasons and logics, contingent, personal but also organisational.
