Abstract

This research paper aims to collect and investigate data that will result from the responses of the greek public to questionnaires based on the International Social Survey (ISSP) for 2022, regarding the family and changing gender roles (Family and Changing Gender Roles V). In particular, during the conduct of the research, it was necessary, first of all, to check the questions included in the questionnaire of the International Social Survey 2022, in order to establish their suitability for the greek public and to translate them into the greek language. These questions are about marriage, alternative family models, children, social policy, the difference between paid and unpaid work in model families, managing family income and housework, decision-making, work-family conflict, and their sense of happiness and satisfaction with their family life, in addition to the demographic characteristics of the respondents and their attitudes about the family and gender roles. Furthermore, for the successful completion of this paper, non-reactive data will be collected. Finally, data from internet websites and Twitter (retweets) will be collected using the web-scraping method and tools such as programming language for statistical analysis and data analysis, R.
