Abstract

The relevance of the study of ethnocultural resilience as a factor of ethno-national consolidation of Ukrainian society against the background of the political and socio-cultural transit of Ukraine from a post-authoritarian to a democratic society is determined by a number of external and internal challenges. First, culture is inseparable from the political development of society, since it strongly influences, on the one hand, the content of politics, acts as its subject, and on the other hand, is the object of the state's ethno-national policy, its regulatory and administrative functions aimed at the interaction of ethnic and cultural-educational processes and the consolidation of society. Secondly, ethno-cultural communication has become one of the key factors in the restoration of Ukraine's state independence, democratic reform of society and integration processes, an effective identifier of civil unity of society, preservation of ethnic identity and tolerance of interethnic relations throughout history. Thirdly, Russia's war against Ukraine turned out to be a difficult test for Ukrainian society on political maturity, ethno-cultural stability and international unity.
