Abstract

Millions of Ukrainian citizens have found themselves outside Ukraine as a result of Russia's aggression and have been granted protection in democratic countries. On the one hand, they are integrating into societies that provide them with opportunities for inclusion. On the other hand, they maintain contact with their homeland and support it in various ways in its confrontation with the enemy. Preserving the identity and cultural code of Ukrainian refugees from the war and facilitating their return is an important component of Ukraine's ethnic policy.
