Abstract

According to the International Institute for Strategic Studies in London, The Armed Conflict Survey 2023 launch, 183 regional and local conflicts are ongoing in the world today in 2023, the highest number in the last three decades. At the same time, migration flows are growing and completely new waves are emerging. The panel "Protection and inclusion, or return to the country of origin of new waves of refugees: risks and opportunities" will discuss the existing threats and opportunities for the modern world, firstly, to prepare a report on practical steps already taken by countries that receive migrants, as well as steps taken by countries that are sources of migrants. Secondly, to prepare general recommendations considering the threats and opportunities of the relevant trends.
