Abstract

Georgina Waylen is the WJM Mackenzie Chair of Government at University of Manchester in 2012. Her research interests include fields of comparative politics/political economy with a focus on gender and politics, international political economy, transitions to democracy, and governance and institutions. More recently she has focussed on anti-gender politics and democratic backsliding. She has been central to the development of FI, and is a former co-director of FIIN.
