Political Research Exchange (PRX) welcomes five new Associate Editors to continue consolidating its status as a strong and up-and-coming generalist journal within the discipline!
Now in its seventh year of publication, Political Research Exchange is ECPR's first Gold Open Access journal has established itself as a core part of our publishing portfolio. After receiving numerous outstanding applications, the Editors-in-Chief (EiCs) selected candidates with proven editorial experience, an established international reputation and a commitment to PRX's four pillars: quality, depth, accessibility, and exchange.
The new associate editorial team represents a wide array of research interests across politics as well as those with expertise in international relations, political theory/philosophy, methodology, and geographical areas outside of Europe.
Caroline L. Silva is an Assistant Professor in International Relations at University Diego Portales, Chile. Caroline specialises in International Relations and International Law. She is particularly interested in the relationship between domestic and international courts around the globe. She is currently working on a book exploring the relationship between Latin American high courts and the Inter-American Court of Human Rights.
Elia R.G. Pusterla is a Researcher at Free University of Bozen-Bolzano (UNIBZ) and University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland (SUPSI). Elia is interested in political theory and philosophy, particularly as they apply to international relations and European studies. He is currently working on issues of post-truth politics and political ontology through the lenses of authors such as Derrida, Agamben, Arendt and Levinas among others.
Mária Žuffová is a Research Fellow at the European University Institute, Italy. She works at the intersection of political and communication science, focusing on the interplay between the state, political actors, and media, examining its influence on trust and information access; the role of stereotypes in shaping gender representation; and the use and impact of transparency policies.
Paolo Gerbaudo is a senior researcher in social science at Complutense University in Madrid with the Talento Investigador programme. Paolo is working on the relationship between politics, technology and public space and his research interests include: political communication, digital politics, populism, social movements, political parties and geopolitics.
Yuleng Zeng is an assistant professor of international political economy at the University of Groningen, The Netherlands. Yuleng is broadly interested in the security implications of economic interdependence, the different tools of coercion and economic statecraft, major power competition, and contemporary Chinese foreign policy. His current research studies how trade enriches and empowers states as well as how this relationship between commerce and power affects interstate relations.
