Abstract

In this panel, we look for empirical studies that theorize and test individual and socio-cognitive mechanisms of bureaucratic reputation. Preferably, papers should contribute to the verification and elaboration of the Bureaucratic Reputation Theory in the context of public (regulatory) governance. Preferably, studies might want to push the boundaries of how and where this theory can explain individual and collective behavior of citizens and decision makers in the context of public agencies.
