Abstract

This panel explores how the transition to net-zero is reshaping geoeconomics and geopolitics, and, conversely, how geopolitics is shaping transition processes in energy and industry. The papers provide assessments of these developments taking different theoertical and methodological approaches and reviewing critical concepts for understanding and analyzing geoeconomics and for studying the re-emergence of economic statecraft within the field of energy.
