Concluding discussion : Methodological Challenges and Perspectives in Comparative Analysis

Abstract

This last session will be used to draw on the lessons learned from section 6. This panel will rely on a paper presented by David Collier, followed by a short presentation by each one of the section chairs. Each one of them will attempt to react to this paper and to draw together some of the more common themes in the papers presented in section 6. These presentations will be followed by an open discussion, which will develop these themes in order to consider the common problems and challenges facing methodological development in European Political Science, and to discuss future avenues of activity.
