Abstract

This panel invites papers from scholars working on the issue of the design and change of judicial institutions, within and across both common law and civil law traditions. Themes that may be considered, but not limited to, include: the appointment procedures, access routes and internal decision-making procedures but also all rules affecting judicial independence. Papers explaining the change of judicial institutions are also invited.
