Abstract

Transitional Justice measures have been dramatically changing the international, national and local arena of politics and policies over the past decades. Global norms, jurisprudence or policies and local values and practices do not necessarily have to clash but can also mutually reinforce each other. This panel will highlight aspects of how transitional justice has transformed international and domestic politics and to what extent these measures can have an impact on, or affect, local transformation and justice.
