The panel International Political Economy, part of the section International Relations, invites contributions from all subfields of international political economy. Thematically, the section is interested in research about the interrelationship between the spheres of politics and economics, both at the domestic and the international level. A core question the section seeks to investigate is how political and economic actors and institutions affect political and economic processes, institutions, and outcomes. In terms of substantive interest, we are open to a variety of research topics, such as international finance, trade politics, health politics, and more. We also welcome both quantitative and qualitative studies which deal with the topics of concern.
