Abstract

This panel focus on the geographical dimension of elections. While center-periphery has been traditionally regarded as one of the key cleavages in society, the geography of the vote has gained new levels of complexity. This panel directly addresses this complexity by combining cross-sectional and longitudinal studies in established as well as new democracies.
