Abstract

Since the Pink Tide has ended – with conservative and right-wing candidates winning election in several countries in Latin America, the region has made a sharp right-wing turn. This panel discuss the rise of far-right not only in Brazil but across Latin America, including the increasing authoritarianism in Venezuela and the power of social networks in electoral contexts.
