Abstract

Empirical research on differentiated integration in the EU has focused on the patterns and causes of differentiation. By contrast, we know very little on the effects of differentiation on important outcomes of European integration - ranging from citizens' attitudes on integration via economic consequences to effects on policy implementation. This panel presents papers from the InDivEU Horizon 2020 project that aim at uncovering such effects.
