This study claims that the official political ideology of the State of Turkish Republic works basically in the same way even though transformed with the important historical moments. This “way” and mindset based on "friend-enemy politics" and produced various tools to destroy the enemy. Prisons as one of these tools would be focused on and functionality of prisons in fight with the enemies of official political ideology in Turkey would be explained in this paper. At this point, the logic behind this official political ideology would be stated with the help of the historical cases.
