Political science research has collected a variety of data concerning political parties. These data include a.o. electoral results, individual political attitudes, and political preferences of parties. Nevertheless an infrastructure to link systematically all these data sources regarding political parties is missing. We present a new internet-based infrastructure for political parties to solve these challenges. Finally, a catalog of political parties will be created based on established existing datasets and user participation. Using our experiences regarding the cataloging and linking of parties in the Manifesto Project (CMP/MARPOR) and the ParlGov Project we provide a computer-assisted approach to enable efficient and transparent linking of existing party-related datasets. More generally speaking, the infrastructure uses approaches of the web 2.0, modern (web) technologies (a.o. Django, Bootstrap, JQuery) and is oriented along the lines of the 'Encyclopdia of Life' (www.eol.org) a free online-plattform collecting species.
