Within the theme "Religion and European Integration" my work will deal with the case of Serbia, mostly Orthodox country , which is currently just a transition , and whose entire foreign policy aimed at joining the European Union. It is possible to find historical parallels , long before the formation of the European Union , in which the religious orientation played an important role in relations with countries that are the founders and today make up the European Union. The work should demonstrate the conclusions that would contribute to integration, as opposed to the traditional strong enough resistance and counter- arguments or ideas for the Union's religion , if we may say so.
