Biopolitics has long been discussed as a critical corpus of generating alternative means of interpreting power and its foundational dispositions. From Foucault to Agamben, biopolitics has obliged to provide untouched motives of the modern articulations of a long-lasting axiomatic principle, the zoē politikon. By critically interpreting the multifaceted set of power relations within the context of the administration of life through either ‘discipline’ or ‘bare life’, biopolitics has provided alternative means for critically understanding diverse modes and modalities of transductive dispositions stipulating order and progress in modernity. Biopolitical critique of such transductive capabilities have mostly been discussed through the vein of a decisionist antagonism between ‘enemy’ vs. ‘friend’ based on Schmittean corpus of ‘the political’, which has barely been differentiated from foundational remains of the idea of ‘human nature’.
The rise of post-foundationalism in continental political philosophy; however, either with its Nietzschean considerations in Deleuze and Guattari or by its Heideggerian appeal in Derrida, has provided an alternative corpus of critique regarding political ontology of the ‘human nature’. Having been reflecting a new krisis of subjectivity and care severely affecting not only questions regarding shifting patterns of recognition related with the new connections between the body and the machine, but also the decadence of democracies constrained by the emerging catastrophe of disaffection, hyper-industrial and hyper-technological transformation of dis/individuation exposes a new syntax of the political phenomenon within the context of noöpolitics. Providing Nietzschean and Heideggerian resolutions of post-foundational critique drawn upon Deleuze and Guattari’s ‘rhizome’, Derrida’s appeal ‘to come’, Vattimo’s ‘weak thought’, Stiegler’s ‘new organology’ and Malabou’s ‘plasticity’, this paper aims at interpreting our hyper-technological epokhē within the accelerationist framework of the noöpolitical.
