Specifically, the study looks at the role and influence of external players, including Saudi Arabia, Iran, Syria, and Israel. on the internal balance of power within Lebanon, assessing how these actors contribute to shape the country''s domestic policies, while also enhancing the existing ethnic and sectarian fragmentation, in turn impacting the stability and governability of the country.
