Gender Politics

Politics and Gender: We consider gender and sex as fundamental categories of political research. Therefore this section would like to bring together research using feminist, intersectional or queer approaches within the major sub-fields of political science. Theoretical, empirical and methodological papers are welcome. Panels / papers may focus on the following issues from a feminist, intersectional or queer perspective: • Political mobilization and protest movements • Party politics and interest groups • Migration and citizenship • Politics of care • Gender-based violence • Political and symbolic representation • Gender politics and the European Union • Critical men’s studies • Political Theory • Research methods
