The University of Manchester is a public research university in Manchester, England. The main campus is south of Manchester City Centre on Oxford Road.

The University of Milano-Bicocca is a public university located in Milan, Italy, providing undergraduate, graduate and post-graduate education. Established in 1998, it was ranked by the Times Higher Education 2014 ranking of the best 100 Universities under 50 years old as number 21 worldwide and first in Italy.

With 1.500 students, the Institute of Political Science (IfPol) at the University of Muenster (WWU) is the third largest Political Science institute in Germany. Research at the IfPol is associated with a comprehensive and internationally oriented manner of studies. Offering a wide range of research areas, excellent working conditions and intensive support for young researchers, the Institute is highly attractive for researchers and students as well as for scientific, governmental and non-governmental partners. International cooperation is more than ever a prerequisite for advanced research and innovation. The Institute of Political Science is internationally well positioned due to co-operation and scientific exchanges with partners around the globe and the international degree programmes offered jointly with partner universities in France and the Netherlands. The Institute is characterised by excellent, internationally visible research in its three main profile areas “Governance”, “Civil Society” and “Globalisation and Regionalisation”. Due to its strong focus on international research, the Institute – in recent years - has developed into a more research-oriented institution with national and international visibility. In addition, the IfPol is involved in the Cluster of Excellence "Religion and Politics" at the WWU in which approx. 200 academics from more than 20 disciplines conduct research on the relationship of religion and politics. The first political science graduate school in Germany - the Graduate School of Politics (GraSP), which was founded in 2005 – is housed within the IfPol. The interdisciplinary Center for European Gender Studies (Zentrum für Europäische Geschlechterforschung, ZEUGS) and the interdisciplinary Center for Sustainable Local Fiscal Policies (Kompetenzzentrum Nachhaltige Kommunale Finanzpolitik, NKFP) are also affiliated to the IfPol. Furthermore, members of the Institute are involved in the Center for Religion and Modernity (CRM), an interdisciplinary research cluster. The IfPol's alumni network was established in 2000. It organises regular events where students meet political practitioners in order to establish first contacts for internships or future careers.

The research Institute Transitions at the University of Namur aims at exploring the different ways in which nature and human societies undergo processes, periods, and impacts of transitions, in an unprecedented manner, which requires a radical change in our former ethical, political and social patterns. Transitions researches emphasize the main fields wherein transitions are of a critical significance: environment, economics, development, mobility, digital landscapes, politics, education, health, justice and social cohesion. These fields are examined in interdisciplinary researches using a combination of methods, concepts and theories.

The economic, political and social issues surrounding Cyprus, the Eastern Mediterranean and the broader region, the European Union and the international arena are in a state of constant flux. Their understanding requires tools to be found in the social and political sciences, looking at the national, regional and international levels, especially their intersections but also the dynamics therein. The research produced by the Department of Politics and Governance at the University of Nicosia aims to address the nature, causes and impact of socio-political and economic phenomena by focusing on specialised areas of academic inquiry, using a broad range of conceptual and methodological apparatuses, and adopting both disciplinary and inter-disciplinary approaches. The Department has a senior-level faculty pool and the leading International Relations research team in Cyprus, while it has also established an international reputation on EU and Eastern Mediterranean studies. Its full range of expertise and activities include also Conflict and Negotiation, Political Economy, History, Comparative Politics, Diplomacy and Security, Public Administration and Governance. Research complements and co-exists with a culture of high quality education, which is offered to the students studying in the (BA, MA and PhD) programs offered by the Department, in the fields of International Relations, European Studies and Public Administration. Graduates can follow careers in international organisations, government, the private sector as well as the non-profit sector, and educational (including research) institutions. On offer at our Department are remarkable opportunities for degree-`seeking students looking to specialise in the region, for study abroad/exchange students aiming to enhance their skills and capabilities in a concentrated manner, and more generally for rigorous engagement with the broad spectrum of social and political sciences. The Department is also linked to research centers and publications, which further enhance its culture as a vibrant locus for lectures, conferences, seminars, public debates and workshops. Our diachronic commitment is to consistently pursue academic dialogue within the broader community, involving students, academics, policy-makers, civil society and other educational institutions.

The University of Notre Dame du Lac is a private Catholic research university in Notre Dame, Indiana. Founded in 1842 by members of the clerical Congregation of Holy Cross, the main campus of 1,261 acres has a suburban setting and contains landmarks such as the Golden Dome, the Word of Life mural, Notre Dame Stadium, and the basilica.

University of Nottingham Ningbo (UNNC) was founded in 2004 with the approval of the Ministry of Education. It is the first Sino-foreign cooperative university in China that possesses an independent legal personality and independent campus, providing bachelor's, master's, and doctoral education. The number of enrolled students is nearly 10,000, and teachers and students come from more than 70 countries and regions. UNNC has been recognized as a 5-star institution by QS Stars Rating and is one of the first Chinese-foreign cooperative universities to have a national postdoctoral research station. Seven subjects were listed among the world's top academic subjects by Shanghai Ranking in 2024. Five subjects ranked within the top 1% of global rankings of Essential Science Indicators (ESI), and over 40 UNNC scholars were listed in "World's Top 2% Scientists" published by Stanford University and Elsevier.

Örebro University is a state university in Örebro, Sweden. The university has its roots in the Örebro campus of Uppsala University, and became an independent state university college in 1977, Örebro University College.

The University of Oxford is a collegiate research university in Oxford, England. There is evidence of teaching as early as 1096, making it the oldest university in the English-speaking world and the world's second-oldest university in continuous operation.

The University of Pittsburgh is a state-related research university in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The university is composed of seventeen undergraduate and graduate schools and colleges at its urban Pittsburgh campus, home to the university's central administration and around 28,000 undergraduate and graduate students. The 132-acre Pittsburgh campus includes various historic buildings that are part of the Schenley Farms Historic District, most notably its 42-story Gothic revival centerpiece, the Cathedral of Learning.
