Political Science includes the scientific study of politics. The subject deals with widely dispersed areas such as political ideas and their history, social systems in Sweden and in other countries and relations between different states. The subject’s two problem areas are political sociology and international relations. Political Sociology is focused on questions concerning citizens’ interaction with the state/government, emphasizing societal processes of change. International relations deal with questions touching on the relations and driving forces between states and other international actors. At Högskolan Dalarna we offer courses ranging from A- to C- level.

De Montfort University Leicester is a public university in the city of Leicester, England. It was established in accordance with the Further and Higher Education Act in 1992 as a degree awarding body. The name De Montfort University was taken from Simon de Montfort, a 13th-century Earl of Leicester.

Demos Helsinki is a globally operating, independent think tank. DEval evaluates German development cooperation. It provides governmental and non-governmental development cooperation organizations with independent, science-based evidence to optimize their strategies, instruments and programs. The institute is mandated by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development to carry out these tasks.

The Department of Political Science of the University of Perugia ( https://www.scipol.unipg.it/en/) is a Department of Excellence 2018-2022. The Department was awarded thanks to the results of its scientific research, including its five-year development project called LEPA, LEgality and PArticipation (http://www.lepa.unipg.it/en/the-lepa/). The mission of the Department of Political Science of the University of Perugia is to study politics in all its different aspects and developments. This research area calls for a plurality of approaches, from political science to history, sociology, law, economics, statistics and linguistics. Research feeds into quality teaching, while, in its turn, teaching stimulates research. Students can enjoy the added value of approaching the political sciences through a multidisciplinary approach, choosing from three undergraduate programs, four graduate programs, and a PhD program in Legality, political cultures and democracy. Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs (DSUIA) is the leading higher educational institution of the region, which trains specialists for law enforcement, human rights, judicial bodies, justice, legal services of enterprises and organizations. DSUIA is a multi-profile higher educational establishment of the MIA of Ukraine system, which embraces all stages of education: Bachelor, Master, internship, PhD studies, advance training and post-graduate studies. DSUIA became a member of 4 international consortia, including 3 projects HORIZONT, "Feminist theories and practice in the context of European education: increasing democracy through the construction of gender eclectic relations", "Evolution of political extremism and its impact on modern socio-political dialog", "Democratic methodologies of a horizontal society: the role of language learning and intercultural communication" and the ERASMUS+ KA2 project on the development of the potential of higher education "Introduction of simulation technologies and scenario-oriented learning in the educational process".

The ELTE Centre for Social Sciences is a research institution where 200 Hungarian and international researchers engage in exploratory and innovative national and international research projects in the Social Sciences. Founded by the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, the Centre’s charter established its freedom to research without political influence. Comprising four institutes – Political Science, Minority Studies, Legal Studies, Sociology and other research units – the Centre has greatly contributed to understanding and addressing far-reaching societal issues that pertain to Hungarian and European societies.
