The Ludovika University of Public Service is a higher educational institution in Budapest, Hungary. Established in 2012, it is one of the youngest universities in Central and Eastern Europe; however, its faculties as former independent colleges look back much earlier.

Based on a faculty of Luiss professors and researchers with an excellent academic reputation, SoG involves faculty from the main national and international universities in its post-graduate programs as well as civil servants, senior managers and directors. SoG students are offered advanced courses in a range of different fields so that they can acquire an innovative understanding on how institutions and policies are managed at the national, European and international levels. Teaching/research in political science, international relations, and European studies (teaching at all levels from Bc to PhD)

The Max Planck Institute for the Study of Societies conducts advanced basic research on the governance of modern societies. It aims to develop an empirically based theory of the social and political foundations of modern economies by investigating the interrelation between economic, social and political action. Using primarily an institutional approach, it examines how markets and business organizations are embedded in historical, institutional, political and cultural frameworks, how they develop, and how their social contexts change over time. The institute seeks to build a bridge between theory and policy and to contribute to political debate on major challenges facing modern societies.

Mid Sweden University is a Swedish state university located in the region around the geographical center of Sweden, with two campuses in the cities of Östersund and Sundsvall. The university closed a third campus in Härnösand in the summer of 2016.
