Linköping University (LiU) is a university in Linköping, Sweden, known for its strong emphasis on interdisciplinary research and innovation. Since becoming Sweden’s sixth university in 1975, it has conducted world-leading research and boundary-crossing education in close collaboration with society and industry. It has two major campuses, in Linköping and Norrköping, and offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs taught in both Swedish and English. The university has about 4,500 employees and 40,000 students.
