With over 30 members of staff, we have a proud history of excellence in research, of providing a range of popular research-led and vocationally-directed courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate level, and of external engagement with the wider public community. The Department hosts the internationally renowned Centre for the Study of Democracy and has three further research programmes on Security and International Relations, Governance and Sustainability, and Islam and Democracy. Being at the heart of Westminster, this is an ideal place to study the latest developments in Politics and International Relations.
