Complaints Procedure

We always aim to resolve complaints or issues that arise during an event informally on site, via the ‘informal’ process outlined below. If you are at an ECPR event please raise any concerns with the Duty Officer in the first instance. If we are unable to resolve the issue locally, a written complaint can be filed via the ‘formal’ process also outlined below. The formal complaints process can also be used for raising issues anonymously or about any other aspect of ECPR activities or services outside of an event

INFORMAL / LOCAL RESOLUTION

If you want to make a complaint or report a breach of the Code of Conduct in person whilst at an ECPR event

1

Report the incident or complaint to a Duty Officer who will collect key information and decide next steps

2

ECPR will seek to resolve the problem locally on-site

3

Complaint unresolved

4

If local resolution is not possible, you may submit a written complaint via the Formal Resolution
See the Formal Resolution Step 1

FORMAL RESOLUTION

If you want to make a complaint or report a breach of the Code of Conduct outside of an ECPR event, either in writing or anonymously

1

Email complaints@ecpr.eu
or to make an anonymous complaint use this form

2

ECPR will gather all relevant information and statements from both parties (if possible) in order to investigate the complaint. We will decide whether to dismiss or uphold the complaint and what, if any, action will be taken. The ECPR reserves the right, in extreme cases, to remove individuals from its activities

4

Where possible, both parties will be informed of outcome of the complaint
