Submitting your proposal

  • To make a proposal, you and your co-author(s) must have a My ECPR profile. If you don’t already have one, it takes just a few clicks to create

  • 3 – 5 keywords*, selected from a predetermined list, indicating the Paper’s subject, theme and scope.
  • The Co-author’s email address as registered in My ECPR (if applicable)

*We use keywords to categorise Papers and Panels, enabling users to search the online programme.

Your abstract (maximum 500 words) include the following:

Outcomes

Identify three key takeaways from your contribution for the participants.

Description

Describe what you are going to present in your contribution.

Ways of engaging the audience

Describe how you plan to engage the audience instead of delivering purely frontal talk. If you propose a demonstration of a learning/teaching method, describe how you think the audience will learn/embrace your method, for example, by using tools allowing participants to interact with the presenter such as Mentimeter, Kahoot, Slido, Nearpod, etc. or simply orally asking participants a question/questions.

Participation format

Let us know if you are submitting a contribution abstract for the online or the face-to-face part of the conference.

What happens next

Abstracts will be evaluated by a group of reviewers based on the following criteria:

  • contribution’s match with the conference topics;
  • suggested ways of engaging the audience;
  • the general quality of the abstract, as documented by its overall consistency.

All proposers are informed of the outcome in early May 2022.

  • If you wish to attend ► Register before the registration deadline
  • If you cannot attendEmail us immediately so we can rearrange contributions if necessary
  • If one of your co-authors can attend and present in your place ► Email us to let us know they should be listed as Presenter

You will be expected to submit your full Paper, a description of your demonstration of a learning/teaching method, or a Poster via your My ECPR profile by Friday 10 June.
