The Library can be found in the Nador 15 Building.
The Library is organised in an open-shelf system and comprises reading halls on multiple levels. More than 200 seats and some large leather chairs are available throughout the facilities, allowing for both comfortable individual and group study activities. The special multi-floor architectural layout of the library offers readers a unique opportunity to find a study space which supports their study needs and reading styles. Everyone can find a favorite nook, a hideaway seating or a table by the window. The overall feeling of the Library is that of a home library away from home.
You will find plenty of computers in the Library with access to e-resources. The Library has free Wi-Fi throughout and you can find power outlets in the reading hall.
The opening hours of the Library during the Summer School are 13:00 to 18:00 (closed on Sunday).
In addition to the Library, Study Areas are available for use by Summer School participants. Free wireless connection (connection details above) is available throughout the building and computers with internet connection can be found in the computer labs that are open: 08:00 - 21:00 on weekdays and 13:00 - 19:00 on weekends. Please note, that when the computer labs are full, priority access should be given to those needing to use the computers for their course. Participants are asked to adopt this code of good conduct, as a courtesy to the other participants.
In addition to the Study Areas, you will find comfortable places to relax – ideal for meeting up with fellow students, and making new friends.
The machine in the CEU lobby of the Nador 9 building is a courtesy machine from CIB Bank. If the ATM is out of order, the ATMs located close to CEU are located:
In accordance with the University's Sustainable Development Policy; water fountains and bottle filling stations are installed in several locations on Campus. The fountains make accessing fresh water more convenient and promote healthy and environmentally conscious water consumption on campus. A number of the machines include a hot water feature as well for preparing hot beverages. Drinking water from these machines as opposed to buying bottled water has many environmental, ecosystem, and health benefits including: energy and overall fresh water consumption reduction, waste reduction, and lessening greenhouse gas emissions. Fountains can be found on each floor of the university buildings.
