Abstract

Knowledge can be considered either as a means for strengthening political debate or as a tool of control and oppression. It all depends on what we understand by "knowledge" as well as "politics," of how knowledge is produced and circulated, and of the form of political debate in a specific community. This panel examines how knowledge overlaps, either productively or unproductively, with political disagreement.
