Abstract

Almost all researchers in any field have heard about Open Science and how important it is for the way in which we engage in our academic and research endeavors, but many researchers still remain confused about the various principles, modalities and options that allow to ‘practice’ Open Science in our every-day activities. This webinar is designed to provide a smooth introduction to Open Science and how to engage in it when undertaking research on migration and ethnicity. The presentation will discuss the core FAIR principles, introduce a number of resources and FAIR tools that have been produced specifically by and for researchers of migration and ethnicity, explain what is EOSC and how researchers can engage with it, and present the RDA and how it may be useful for your research or your networking. The webinar will also provide sufficient time for a detailed Q&A with the audience to facilitate understanding of how to incorporate Open Science principles and ways of doing in your everyday research practice.
