Abstract

This panel explores the variety of crises that the EU has been confronted with in recent years, as well as the different effects that these crises have had on EU integration. The papers provide conceptual contributions highlighting the different nuances and dynamics of integration and disintegration, as well as empirical analyses of the effects of the Eurozone crisis, Schengen/migration crisis, COVID-19 and the Russian invasion of Ukraine on the EU.
