Approaches to the Study of Policy Process: State of the Art and Perspectives

Abstract

Representatives of the Multiple Streams Approach, the Punctuated Equilibrium Theory, the Advocacy Coalition Framework, the Social Construction Framework and the Institutional Analysis and Development Framework come together to discuss their approaches. They will present the state of the art of each lens and will discus hypothesis generation, challenges, and possible future agendas of their approaches as well as further development of policy process theories.
