Abstract

Education and youth play a large component in gender identity and, thus, merit significant academic analysis. Education relates to gender, especially when incorporating men into the feminized sphere of the education system in the Czech Republic. Youth is a crucial developmental stage, and the exploration of sexualisation among youth, based on gender, provides valuable insight into the field of gender politics and development studies. Finally, political participation among youth in democratic countries is an ongoing challenge in most Western democracies. Exploring the gender gap in the political participation of youth in Germany will assist other scholars studying the youth gender gap to draw inferences with other cases.
