Abstract

This panel brings together papers analysing various dimensions of environmental communication and public attitudes towards controversial environmental topics such as GMOs and climate change. Drawing on public opinion research and discourse analysis, the papers explore how environmental debates are framed by different actors (including political parties and the mass media) and how particular arguments and messages are perceived by different social groups.
